San Antonio Has A Busy Day with Car Accidents

San Antonio had a little rain yesterday and a whole lot a car wrecks. Police recorded 433 minor accidents and 73 major wrecks. This is a major increase from the week before when it recorded 282 minor accidents and 45 major wrecks.

“For a half-day, we had almost double the accidents than we see on a full day,” said Officer Joe Rios, a San Antonio Police Department spokesman.

Many motorists want to blame the weather for these wrecks but more often it is the result of dangerous drivers who are unwilling to slow down for the wet conditions.
