On September 27, 2007, Raymond Campos, 24, was killed due to a head-on crash on Texas 27 in Kerr County. Around 6:50 a.m., Mr. Campos was traveling west on Texas 27 when his vehicle crossed the center line and was hit truck.

The truck driver was treated for lacerations at Sid Peterson Hospital and Mr. Campos was pronounced dead at the scene.
