On the night of the San Antonio Spurs championship, a little girl was hit by an accused drunk driver and is now blind in one eye. Teresa Alvarez and her daughter were celebrating on the sidewalk off Culebra Road when a car hopped the curb and struck both Ms. Alvarez and her daughter.
Teresa's right leg was torn apart and she had a broken jaw. Her daughter, Brianna, has broken bones all over her face and is now blind in her right eye.
